Armada Reel

At the moment I cannot present my final degree film online because of festival entry requirements so instead Im presenting a number of scenes from the movie,not nesacarilly in sequence,but enough to get the general mood of the piece. The final film I should note, is accompanied by a fantastic soundtrack and guitar piece by the wonderful Micheal Clarke,unfortunately it just didnt fit with this shorter version of the reel.

Life Drawing Reel

These are a number of pieces of gesture work done over numerous life drawing sessions in college. I particularly enjoyed working with inks and bamboo because it's fluid enough to provide the main mark work in quick sessions while it becomes very graphic in style during prolongued observations.

J.L.A. by Gaslight

This was just a piece I worked on which came about after I saw a toy series based on the Justice League if theyed existed in the Victorian era of the "Gotham by Gaslight" story drawn by Mike Mignola. I loved researching all the clothing and costume from that period and would really like to work on some larger project sometime.

Comic Work- Red Riding Hood 1 of 7

This was an old college piece from a few years back, the brief was to do a comic based on a famous folk tale in seven pages with a minimum of three panels per page. Unfortunately we were'nt allowed do splash pages which is a shame because i had big plans for the end.

The comic was finished with a mix of watercolours for the most of the characters and enviroment and red marker for emphasis on certain objects.
